Watched Mud. It was good to see Tye Sheridan in another important role, who formerly played as one of the kids in Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life. Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon gave amazing performances. This performance of McConaughey is what landed him the role in Nolan’s Interstellar. The theme was about letting go things we love, rather things we think we love. We tend to behave with self benefit in mind. We love someone only when it’s proving good for us. Soon we get used to this profit and think we deserve more. Do we ever act selflessly?
